We are located on FM 562 in Anahuac, Texas. We are approximately 45 miles away from both George Bush International Airport and Hobby Airport in Houston. There is also a regional airport 10 minutes away.
Anahuac has the majority of the items you might need during your stay inlcuding a liquor store, several restaurants and grocery stores, etc., but if you need any ammunition or if you have more specific needs then we would recommend stopping in the Baytown/Mont Belvieu area which is about halfway between Houston and our location.
WHAT TO BRING FOR YOUR STAY
Clean bedding and towels are provided, as is breakfast, lunch and dinner. If you have any special dietary needs, please inform us ahead of time so that we may plan accordingly. Water, coffee, tea, milk, and orange juice is provided. Bring your own alcohol and other drinks you may desire.
WHAT TO BRING FOR YOUR HUNT
All of our blinds are dry-dock access meaning there is no need for you to bring your waders unless that’s what makes you comfortable. We recommend knee boots and to just dress for the weather. Other than that, bring your shotgun (WITH A PLUG), STEEEL ammunition, and a valid hunting license. Everything else is covered.
LICENSE REQUIREMENTS
Up to 15 years old need a youth hunting license.
16 years old need a youth hunting license and a federal duck stamp
17 years old need a resident or non-resident hunting license, a federal duck stamp, a state migratory bird endorsement, their HIP certification, and their hunters education certificate (if born after September 2, 1971) or their one year hunters ed deferral.
